EASYLABEL Software: Easy to Learn. Built for Real Labeling Work.

EASYLABEL® is Windows label design software from Tharo Systems, which has been making it since 1982. Design barcode, compliance, and RFID labels in a layout that feels like Microsoft Office, then print to the thermal and/or color labels printers you already run.

Built for Real Production Environments

EASYLABEL is more than a label editor. It handles everything from a single shipping label to automated printing from your ERP.

  • Native drivers for 19 printer brands send labels in the printer’s own language, and any Windows printer driver is supported too
  • Database Cross Reference pulls data from two or more databases onto one label, which Tharo recommends for localized GHS hazard and precautionary statements
  • Platinum’s XML Monitor watches a folder or TCP/IP port and prints when a file arrives, so systems like SAP or Oracle can trigger labels without anyone typing data
  • Labelcom reads data from a scanner or scale on a serial or USB port and prints the label automatically
  • The Print History Console logs print jobs, flags reprints, and backs up label formats, and user accounts can be locked for tighter control

Run EASYLABEL Your Way

One computer, a whole network, or a browser. EASYLABEL licenses come as a USB dongle or a digital license.

Single-User Licenses

Ideal for a shipping desk, a production line station, or a small team sharing one labeling PC.

Why teams choose single-user:

  • Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels to match your needs
  • No network connection required
  • A USB dongle moves easily to another computer
  • A digital license works well on laptops and virtual machines

Network Licenses

Ideal for multiple users, multiple workstations, or printing from devices that don’t run Windows.

Why teams choose a network license:

  • Multi-User shares one license across network computers, starting at 3 users
  • Terminal Server supports as many users as your server allows
  • Net Print Server lets anyone print from a web browser, with no client install
  • All three include Platinum features except XML and Print Only

EASYLABEL Software FAQ

No. EASYLABEL licenses are a one-time purchase, with no monthly or yearly fees. Minor version updates are free. Major upgrades, such as moving from 6.4 to 7, are a paid upgrade.

Silver covers basic label design and printing. Gold adds database connections and GS1 barcode wizards, which most production users need. Platinum adds RFID, XML and command file automation, ActiveX, and tools for FDA 21 CFR Part 11.

EASYLABEL 7 is supported on Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server 2016 or later. It doesn’t run natively on a Mac, but the Net Print Server web interface works from almost any device with a browser.

Yes. EASYLABEL includes built-in drivers for Zebra, Godex, TSC, Printronix, Honeywell, Datamax, Sato, and other brands. It can also print through any Windows printer driver.

EASYLABEL Silver and higher support Windows printer drivers and color printing on color printers, so ColorWorks printers would print through Epson’s Windows driver. Talk to us before you buy and we’ll confirm your setup.

EASYLABEL START is free, but it only works with Tharo printers and allows up to 25 fields per label format.

A USB dongle is easy to move between computers. A digital license needs no hardware and suits laptops and virtual machines. It’s tied to one computer, though, and moving it requires Tharo support for a fee.

No. Platinum includes 3 XML printer seats for the XML Monitor and XML Generator features. Outside those features, Platinum has a virtually unlimited number of printer seats (up to 255 printers).
