The Afinia L501 Yellow Dye Ink Cartridge is designed for use in the Afinia L501 color label printer with a dye printhead installed. It is compatible only with dye printhead configurations and will not work in an L501 fitted with a pigment printhead.

Dye ink gives brighter, more vibrant color than pigment ink on standard label stock, though it offers less resistance to water, UV light, and handling.
