For the first time in decades, the United States is facing several supply chain issues ranging from material and subcomponent scarcity, increasing freight costs, difficulties in forecasting, freight/train/port congestion, and increased consumer spending.
The COVID pandemic drove eCommerce spending to an all-time high. Few companies expected this and because of the surge in purchasing, keeping up with customer’s spending frenzies became a challenge.

Pacific Barcode is committed to minimizing disruptions for our customers. Â Although some of these delays are out of our control, we are investing in additional inventoried materials and an increase in employee head-count to ensure that our team stays on top of all actual and anticipated delays.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Forecasting (Order More, and Order Early): Place your orders as far in advance as possible to ensure that you will get your materials when you need them. We recommend placing your orders as far in the future as possible.Â
- Consult with your Pacific Barcode Rep: Let us help with creative options. Maybe you can use another similar material, or other possible options.
